About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic territory plans to maximize the utilization of oncology products across targeted accounts in Utah.
- Meet or exceed sales objectives through consistent field-based meetings with healthcare providers and staff.
- Drive growth by leveraging deep scientific expertise regarding disease states, competition, and market trends.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with national opinion leaders in oncology and pathology.
- Provide critical feedback to national, regional, and area teams to support corporate decision-making.
- Collaborate with managed care, reimbursement, and patient advocacy groups to ensure product access.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Business Management, Marketing, Science, or a related field (or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree).
- 5+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of selling complex medical oncology or diagnostic products.
- 3+ years of medical sales experience in specialty areas such as Buy & Bill, Medical Device, or highly clinical specialties (e.g., Urology, Cardiology, GI).
- 3+ years of experience working in highly competitive market environments.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to travel 75% of the time, including potential overnight and weekend travel.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of direct experience in oncology selling chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or diagnostics.
- Existing strong relationships within oncology accounts in the Utah territory.
- Experience selling to surgeons and major cancer centers.
- Knowledge of NextGen Sequencing, Minimal Residual Disease (MRD), comprehensive genomic profiling, or liquid biopsy.
