About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle for bringing new restaurant partners onto DoorDash
  • Prospect, pitch, negotiate, and close deals with local and regional merchants
  • Meet with restaurant owners in-person to introduce DoorDash offerings
  • Negotiate revenue share agreements and sell multi-product solutions
  • Use creative strategies for sales processes and prospect outreach
  • Share on-the-ground insights with sales leadership and operations
  • Mentor teammates after establishing success in the role

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a closing sales role
  • Experience in outside sales or a field-forward environment
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, transactional sales cycle
  • Proven track record of exceeding KPIs and sales targets
  • Experience selling multi-product solutions
  • Technical proficiency with Salesforce, Outreach, Chorus, and Google Apps

  • Passion for SMB businesses and the restaurant industry
  • Demonstrated resourceful outreach tactics to engage prospects
