About the role
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle for bringing new restaurant partners onto DoorDash
- Prospect, pitch, negotiate, and close deals with local and regional merchants
- Meet with restaurant owners in-person to introduce DoorDash offerings
- Negotiate revenue share agreements and sell multi-product solutions
- Use creative strategies for sales processes and prospect outreach
- Share on-the-ground insights with sales leadership and operations
- Mentor teammates after establishing success in the role
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a closing sales role
- Experience in outside sales or a field-forward environment
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, transactional sales cycle
- Proven track record of exceeding KPIs and sales targets
- Experience selling multi-product solutions
- Technical proficiency with Salesforce, Outreach, Chorus, and Google Apps
Preferred Qualifications
- Passion for SMB businesses and the restaurant industry
- Demonstrated resourceful outreach tactics to engage prospects
