Regional Medical Advisor

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary scientific face of the organization to Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and physicians within a specific therapy area.
• Identify, map, and profile KOLs within the assigned geography and therapeutic segment.
• Execute strategic medical affairs plans, including medical education, product education, and medical evidence generation.
• Act as a therapeutic area scientific expert, discussing scientific data, treatment trends, and studies with leading specialists.
• Gather deep insights on disease trends and treatment patterns to contribute to the annual Medical Affairs Strategy Plan.
• Collaborate with KOLs to conduct therapy-specific reviews, meta-analyses, case studies, and publish findings in reputable journals.
• Provide scientific support and training to the sales team regarding the latest medical developments in the field.
• Ensure all regional activities align with the Global Code of Conduct and compliance guidelines.

Requirements

• MBBS + MD (Pharmacology) degree.
• Strong academic record with deep knowledge of the relevant therapeutic area.
• Proficiency in research methodologies and the interpretation of medical data.
• Excellent scientific communication skills suitable for peer-to-peer relationships with medical specialists.
• Competency in project management.
• Less than 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a research company is preferred.
