Regional MEA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement manufacturing technologies for complex lighting modules within a global network.
• Plan and specify complex work cycles, manufacturing sequences, and production equipment.
• Provide end-to-end technical support for product development with a focus on manufacturability, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Support DFM (design for manufacturing) and DFA (design for assembly) initiatives.
• Participate in global and regional project teams and continuous improvement activities.
• Coordinate and implement process and production equipment changes, including managing improvement measures.
• Conduct FMEA-based risk assessments and implement corrective actions to address non-conformities.
• Provide technical oversight for manufacturing performance, including product yield, cycle time, and scrap rate control.
• Plan production capacities, layouts, sampling, production ramp-up, and audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• More than 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Background in the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of design for assembly (DFA) and assembly technology.
• Fluency in oral and written English.
• Strong communication, logical thinking, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in automotive lighting.
• Experience in cross-regional project management and coordination.
• Mastery of the transfer process to the production department (full run process).
