About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of Engineer Surveyors
- Drive a culture of safety, teamwork, and customer satisfaction
- Manage day-to-day operations including scheduling, job delivery, timesheets, and invoicing
- Own the P&L and improve business performance and efficiency
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the South Island region
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
Requirements
- Experience within the engineering, regulatory, or industrial services sector
- Proven leadership experience managing technical teams
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Commercial acumen and understanding of financial performance (P&L)
- Sound knowledge of statutory, regulatory, and safety requirements
- Mechanical Engineering degree (preferred)
- Relevant CBIP qualifications (advantageous)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
