About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of Engineer Surveyors
  • Drive a culture of safety, teamwork, and customer satisfaction
  • Manage day-to-day operations including scheduling, job delivery, timesheets, and invoicing
  • Own the P&L and improve business performance and efficiency
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the South Island region
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships

Requirements

  • Experience within the engineering, regulatory, or industrial services sector
  • Proven leadership experience managing technical teams
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Commercial acumen and understanding of financial performance (P&L)
  • Sound knowledge of statutory, regulatory, and safety requirements
  • Mechanical Engineering degree (preferred)
  • Relevant CBIP qualifications (advantageous)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
