Regional Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the regional operational budget, driving cost-control initiatives and achieving performance targets
• Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring HSEQ compliance, audits, and incident investigations
• Lead and develop line managers, superintendents, and frontline operational staff
• Develop, implement, and execute the Regional Business Plan
• Oversee customer compliance, quality assurance, and procedural documentation
• Liaise with customers, regulatory authorities, and suppliers to promote the business
• Provide timely and accurate data reporting on operational performance and business development
• Assist with the identification, design, and execution of future regional projects
• Travel to remote sites across Australia as required

Requirements

• Operations management experience in logistics, transport, mining, or heavy industry
• Proven track record of managing a business unit, including P&L and budget accountability
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing and developing employees
• Broad knowledge of mobile fleets, bulk haulage, port services, or bulk storage
• Diploma or degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work autonomously
• Ability to work flexibly in a demanding, fast-paced environment
