About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the Regional Sales Manager in achieving divisional goals through focused business planning and people management.
- Drive business growth and customer satisfaction by visiting customers regularly to promote products and services.
- Provide continuous industry, competitor, and product education to self and team members.
- Prepare quarterly regional sales forecasts and participate in determining market potential and sales expense estimates.
- Monitor sales performance for the team, initiating corrective actions and preparing detailed management reports.
- Coach and mentor team members in the field using disciplined selling models.
- Ensure high commitment to quality by managing customer complaints and facilitating field corrective actions.
- Maintain clinical excellence by interpreting clinical studies and acting as a competent discussion partner for physicians.
Requirements
- Proven experience in medical device industry sales and business management.
- Strong selling skills with a track record of meeting revenue targets.
- Deep industry knowledge and the ability to stay ahead of competitor tactics and market trends.
- Demonstrated ability to manage people, including coaching and developing direct reports.
- Commitment to clinical excellence and the ability to discuss complex medical data with healthcare professionals.
- Strict adherence to quality compliance and patient safety protocols.
