About the role
Responsibilities
- Communicate BD’s long-term strategic direction and value proposition to customers
- Drive demand for Molecular, HPV, Vaginal Panel, STI, and Enteric offerings
- Identify and close new accounts within the designated regional market
- Develop and implement strategic account sales plans for non-acute adoption
- Conduct product demonstrations and prepare economic models/proposals
- Generate leads through participation in state, regional, and national meetings
- Manage administrative duties including expense monitoring and call reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1+ years of inside/outside sales or clinical experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of current U.S. healthcare trends
- Ability to travel 60-75%
Preferred Qualifications
- BA or BS in Life Sciences
- 3+ years of medical sales experience
- Experience in Women’s Health or Point of Care markets
