Regional IS Practice Specialist - EDI

Responsibilities

• Configure EDI channels, partner profiles, and communication settings within SAP to ensure efficient data exchange with external partners, vendors, and customers.
• Set up and manage EDI transactions including ODETTE EDIFACT, DELFOR, DELJIT, EDI 850, 856, 810, 940, and ANFAVEA.
• Develop and maintain EDI mappings using middleware tools to ensure seamless data transformation between SAP and external systems.
• Collaborate with business units, SAP functional consultants, and external stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Support cross-functional teams in testing and validating EDI solutions through unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of EDI configurations, mappings, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Provide regular reporting on EDI system performance, error logs, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Requirements

• University degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Systems operations.
• Expertise in managing enterprise applications such as ERP, EDI, and manufacturing systems.
• Familiarity with Automotive customer EDI systems across the Americas region, including Brazil and Argentina.
• Knowledge of ITIL service management frameworks.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices within enterprise applications.
• Proven track record in managing application support and operations at a global level.

Preferred Qualifications

• SD SAP Academy certification or related certification.
• Experience working within Agile or Waterfall methodologies for SAP project delivery.
