Regional Industry Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead business development, transaction processing, and portfolio management for infrastructure, energy, mining, municipal, water, and digital (INR) investment activities in Türkiye, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan.
• Develop and execute investment strategies in partnership with regional and industry management to meet IFC 2030 goals and Corporate Scorecard targets.
• Manage and mentor an integrated team of professionals, providing HR oversight and career development guidance.
• Build and maintain high-level client relationships to turn leads into complex, high-impact investment transactions.
• Oversee the profitability and risk of the regional debt and equity portfolios, including monitoring valuations, exit strategies, and restructuring needs.
• Collaborate with WBG counterparts and other IFC departments to identify synergy and expand business delivery.
• Ensure strict compliance with financial, environmental, social, and legal requirements across all projects.

Requirements

• Master's degree in business, finance, or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in financing or investing within the real sectors (INR and/or MAS).
• Proven track record in sourcing, structuring, and executing complex investment transactions.
• Extensive experience in managing and developing high-performing multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong expertise in portfolio and asset management, including loans, equities, guarantees, and asset recovery.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a matrix organization and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
