Regional Industrial Excellence Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the Asia OPEX network by interfacing with plants to share best manufacturing practices and animate the SMED network.
• Drive continuous improvement activities to optimize safety, quality, productivity, and stock levels.
• Animate Kaizen workshops across multiple domains including 5S, VSM, TPM, and Visual Management.
• Lead the deployment of new technologies, such as AGV deployment and humanoid use case development, to improve productivity.
• Participate in new project reviews to contribute operational excellence expertise and improve industrial ramp-up performance.
• Coach and train plant teams (Production, Engineering, Logistics) on Lean tools and practical implementation.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, including LOTO (lock out/tag out) and the authority to stop machines in case of risk.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of industrial project development experience or Lean manufacturing experience.
• Strong Lean Manufacturing mindset with expertise in SMED, Hoshin, VSM, and Visual Management.
• Experience with plastic material blow molding and welding process control.
• Proficiency in English (speaking, listening, reading, and writing).
• Strong data analysis skills and basic digital manufacturing knowledge.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and cross-cultural communication skills.
