Regional Human Resources Manager

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary HR business partner for regional teams, aligning local practices with global people strategy.
• Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, investigations, and promoting a culture of inclusion.
• Lead recruitment efforts and oversee onboarding processes for new hires.
• Support compensation frameworks, performance management, and professional development initiatives.
• Ensure full compliance with local employment laws, managing contracts, labor documentation, and statutory requirements.
• Oversee HR operations including leave management, benefits administration, and HRIS record maintenance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, specifically in employee relations and compliance.
• Proficiency in Malay (Bahasa Malaysia) for workplace collaboration.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysia labor laws and regional employment practices.
• Legal authorization to work in Malaysia.
• Strong communication, mediation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse, multicultural teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong experience in the Gulf countries with proficiency in Arabic.
• Experience working in the nonprofit, conservation, or international development sectors.
• Experience supporting field-based or remote teams.
• Experience working across multiple countries in Southeast Asia.
• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
