Regional Human Resources Manager

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary HR business partner for regional teams, aligning local practices with global people strategy.
• Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, investigations, and promoting a culture of inclusion.
• Lead recruitment efforts and oversee onboarding processes for new hires.
• Support compensation frameworks, performance management, and professional development initiatives.
• Ensure strict compliance with employment laws and regulations in Malaysia and the Gulf region.
• Oversee HR operations including employment contracts, leave management, and HRIS maintenance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, specifically in employee relations and compliance.
• Deep knowledge of labor laws and employment practices in Malaysia and the Gulf region.
• Fluency in both Malay (Bahasa Malaysia) and English.
• Proven ability to work effectively with diverse, multicultural teams.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Malaysia.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting field-based or remote teams in a conservation or nonprofit setting.
• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Fluency in a language commonly spoken in the Gulf countries, such as Arabic.
