Regional HSE Manager

Fluidstack is focused on delivering massive compute infrastructure for AI. The company acquires power, designs and builds data centers, and operates them with teams spanning hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve EHS standards, specifications, and program documentation across all active sites
• Conduct regular site audits, inspections, and EHS performance reviews
• Manage incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action
• Serve as the primary EHS point of contact for general contractors and subcontractors
• Lead environmental compliance programs including air emissions, stormwater (SWPPP), and waste management
• Own the end-to-end environmental permitting process
• Manage relationships with EPA regional offices and state environmental agencies
• Partner with Construction, Development, Legal, and Operations teams to integrate EHS into project planning
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees and contractors
• Integrate AI tools into EHS workflows for document review and compliance research

Requirements

• Engineering degree (Environmental, Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, or similar)
• 7+ years of progressive EHS experience
• Deep knowledge of EPA regulations and multi-state environmental permitting
• Experience managing compliance across multiple regulatory jurisdictions
• Background in environmental consulting
• Proven ability to manage EHS across multi-site or regional portfolios
• Proficiency in using AI tools in daily work
• Ability to travel approximately 50% to active project sites

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in data center construction or hyperscale infrastructure
• Experience with air emissions inventory and stack testing
• CSP, CHMM, or equivalent professional certification
• Background in an environmental consulting firm
