Regional Finance Officer

Responsibilities

• Support the Manager in ensuring all financial and tax compliance with regional regulations and company policies.
• Identify and evaluate financial risks and opportunities across the Africa region.
• Assist in the annual budget cycle and monitor financial performance against budget.
• Provide financial guidance and advice to regional Department heads to support decision-making.
• Drive process improvements across AP, AR, Revenue Accounting, and GL functions through technology adoption.
• Develop financial and operational KPIs and participate in projects aimed at improving business efficiencies.
• Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or a related field.
• 4+ years of post-graduation industry experience in a senior accounting or finance role.
• Minimum of 1+ years of experience specifically in finance and tax within the North Africa region.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with managers and senior executives.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel and data tools like Power BI.

Preferred Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant or Management Accounting qualification (or currently working towards one).
• Hands-on experience working with SAP systems.
