Regional Field Applications Lead - FPGA

Responsibilities

• Represent AMD to engage with high-level customer leadership, specifically within Indian Government, Defence, and Academia
• Build and expand technical relationships with key customer stakeholders across India
• Partner with internal teams and channel partners to qualify leads and identify customer pain points
• Lead qualification processes through demos, presentations, architecture designs, and technical workshops
• Participate in technical discussions to foster adoption of FPGA, RFSoC, AI, and Embedded x86 solutions
• Develop the customer base in India to ensure a healthy growth pipeline
• Provide market feedback regarding competition and product trends to internal stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 10+ years of professional working experience
• 5+ years of hands-on engineering experience in FPGA, RFSoC, Firmware, and Software development
• Proficiency in VHDL, Verilog, C/C++, and Python
• Experience with Embedded x86 platforms and ecosystems
• Knowledge of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence
• Strong business acumen and ability to work independently
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills
• Ability to travel 25-40% within India

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to AI deployment on adaptive computing or embedded platforms
• Proficiency in Hindi or any regional Indian language
