Regional Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ownership of specific jobs and projects through to successful completion
• Perform fault diagnosis and root cause analysis on production machinery
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks
• Complete risk assessments and method statements for factory equipment
• Identify and report stock and spares issues
• Liaise with production to minimize plant outages and downtime
• Prioritize workload based on output, quality, and efficiency
• Identify improvements to increase line and machinery efficiencies
• Assist in the training and development of new starters
• Monitor, control, and minimize waste
• Act as a machinery knowledge specialist

Requirements

• Experience in a food factory environment (advantageous)
• Completed apprenticeship (desirable)
• Packing experience (desirable)
• Basic computer literacy
• Strong communication and motivation skills
• Understanding of health and safety requirements
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Flexibility to undertake overtime during busy periods
