Regional Engineer

Responsibilities

• Maintain digital broadcasting electronic systems and related equipment to ensure optimum transmission and broadcast performance
• Manage traditional radio and digital systems, including RF switchers, transmitters, transceivers, studio consoles, and audio equipment
• Respond to equipment outages, malfunctions, and technical problems as an on-call resource (24/7 availability required)
• Conduct routine diagnostic testing, repairs, and replacements of all radio station broadcast equipment
• Assist in the installation, training, and support of software, hardware, and networking components such as file servers, workstations, and switches
• Document all equipment maintenance, repairs, and replacements
• Install and support desktop computer equipment for internal users and company-owned sites within the market
• Travel periodically to other iHeartMedia locations for equipment installation or troubleshooting

Requirements

• Previous radio broadcast experience is required
• Associate degree or greater in a technical field or equivalent experience
• Ability to climb ladders and work in small spaces
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Valid state driver’s license and an excellent driving record
