About the role
Responsibilities
- Educate and recruit Key Opinion Leaders from the OBGYN medical community
- Represent company technology and service offerings to physicians and hospitals
- Develop and execute plans for rapid product distribution
- Create business plans based on sales goals, regional strategies, and tactics
- Recruit, select, hire, and coordinate training for regional sales professionals
- Provide coaching, direction, and constructive feedback to sales teams
- Conduct field visits to support sales professional development
- Design and implement territory alignment to maximize ROI
- Establish positive working relationships with internal and external customer segments
Requirements
- BA in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Background in medical or biological sciences
- Minimum 3 years of physician sales experience in diagnostic laboratory business
- Minimum 5 years of successful sales management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Gmail, and Salesforce.com
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in clinical diagnostics
- Experience in a genetics laboratory
- Market knowledge and experience in reproductive health
