Regional Director, Talent Acquisition - LATAM (Spanish Speaking)

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive a customer-focused culture throughout the Talent Acquisition team to deepen client relationships.
• Provide vision and strategic direction to Global Talent Acquisition strategies and coach direct reports.
• Collaborate with business and HR leaders to implement forward-thinking strategies that establish Scotiabank as an employer of choice.
• Develop and implement talent insights to drive accountability and align people competencies with business priorities.
• Build and manage priority talent segment strategies, ensuring diversity goals are integrated into program designs.
• Manage internal and external ROI to identify cost-saving and revenue-generating opportunities within TA partnerships.
• Reinforce the Bank’s commitment to Inclusion for all designated groups through proper candidate slate representation.
• Ensure all recruitment activities comply with governing regulations, internal policies, and risk management protocols.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience within Talent Acquisition.
• Proven track record of leading transformative initiatives and managing high-performing teams.
• Proficiency in both written and verbal English and Spanish.
• Experience with various HR systems, including the implementation of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Ability to work cooperatively across different business units, geographies, and disciplines.
• Strong understanding of managing teams accountable for both high-volume and professional roles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep industry knowledge within the banking or financial services sector.
• Expert knowledge of the Talent Acquisition landscape, including sourcing and candidate relationship management tools.
