Regional Director

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional and operational leadership to ensure high-quality programming across assigned sites
• Supervise, coach, and evaluate Center Directors to ensure quality instructional leadership
• Ensure full compliance with CDSS Title 22 and CDE Title 5 regulations
• Develop and implement ongoing training plans to build staff capacity
• Monitor classroom and site budgets for responsible resource stewardship
• Foster strong relationships with families and community partners
• Support research and evaluation partnerships through data collection and communication
• Oversee the integration of technology and innovative practices to enhance educator effectiveness

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, social services, or a related field
• 4 to 5 years of experience in early childhood education leadership
• 3 to 4 years of experience supervising others
• Ability to obtain a Site Supervisor Permit within 3 months of employment
• Must meet Title 5 and Title 22 requirements for a qualified site director
• CPR/First Aid Training Certification
• Completion of CCL Record Keeping Component and required health and safety training
• Ability to pass health screening, TB test, and background fingerprint clearance

• Bilingual skills
• Experience with nature-based learning or language and literacy programs
