About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Wealth Planning, Tax Planning, and Estate Planning Consultants to support HNW and UHNW client segments
  • Partner with Vice-Presidents of Private Wealth and Investment Advisors to deliver customized wealth strategies and financial plans
  • Lead the development and implementation of regional wealth planning strategies to drive asset growth and revenue
  • Act as a subject matter expert in advanced financial planning, including taxation, estates, trusts, and insurance
  • Establish KPIs and performance metrics to monitor planning quality, client penetration, and retention
  • Oversee the quality review process to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies
  • Foster a culture of diversity, inclusion, and continuous professional development within the team

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in financial services or wealth management
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field of study
  • Proven experience in team management and leadership
  • Extensive experience managing High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) client segments
  • Deep knowledge of Taxation, Estates, Trusts, and Insurance
  • Proficiency with NaviPlan and CCH financial planning software
  • IQPF designation is required
  • Fluency in both French and English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional designations such as CPA, CA, CMA, LL.B, or LL.M
  • Advanced graduate degree or MBA
  • Additional wealth designations including CLU, R.F.P., CIWM, TEP, FCSI, FMA, CIM, or FEA
  • Strong background in financial services sales and business development
