About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of Wealth Planning, Tax Planning, and Estate Planning Consultants to support HNW and UHNW client segments
- Partner with Vice-Presidents of Private Wealth and Investment Advisors to deliver customized wealth strategies and financial plans
- Lead the development and implementation of regional wealth planning strategies to drive asset growth and revenue
- Act as a subject matter expert in advanced financial planning, including taxation, estates, trusts, and insurance
- Establish KPIs and performance metrics to monitor planning quality, client penetration, and retention
- Oversee the quality review process to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies
- Foster a culture of diversity, inclusion, and continuous professional development within the team
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience in financial services or wealth management
- Post-secondary degree in a related field of study
- Proven experience in team management and leadership
- Extensive experience managing High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) client segments
- Deep knowledge of Taxation, Estates, Trusts, and Insurance
- Proficiency with NaviPlan and CCH financial planning software
- IQPF designation is required
- Fluency in both French and English
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional designations such as CPA, CA, CMA, LL.B, or LL.M
- Advanced graduate degree or MBA
- Additional wealth designations including CLU, R.F.P., CIWM, TEP, FCSI, FMA, CIM, or FEA
- Strong background in financial services sales and business development
