Regional Director, Facilities Management & Operations

Responsibilities

• Lead the facilities team in executing maintenance and preventive maintenance plans for the regional building portfolio
• Manage repair and operation of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire/life safety
• Oversee work-ticket systems to prioritize and respond to school operations requests
• Develop annual maintenance and operating budgets and monitor regional spend
• Coordinate capital projects and work with the Home Office Real Estate team on prioritization
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and governmental inspections

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 7+ years of progressive experience in architecture, construction, project management, or facility management
• Familiarity with HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
• Knowledge of OSHA and Life Safety codes
• Proficiency with Building Management Systems (BMS) and Microsoft Office
• Ownership of a personal vehicle for travel between campuses
• Ability to address emergencies 24/7 as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in architecture, planning, or a related field
• New Jersey low-pressure black seal boiler or HVAC certifications
• Experience with data-driven decision-making and financial forecasting
