About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the execution and communication of Continuous Improvement (CI) strategies and roadmaps to improve Gross Margin and productivity.
- Act as the primary Lean champion for the region, promoting a culture of continuous improvement across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Facilitate Kaizen events, workshops, and targeted improvement activities to achieve strategic objectives.
- Provide CI training, coaching, and mentorship to frontline leaders to build internal capability and problem-solving skills.
- Lead GEMBA walks and support the deployment of a consistent Daily Lean Management System (DLMS).
- Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and visual management systems to support data-driven decision-making.
- Monitor operational performance metrics (QCDS) and communicate results to plant and global leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or 10+ years of manufacturing CI experience in lieu of a degree).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Lean Transformation within a high-performing manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience leading Kaizen events and executing CI roadmaps.
- Strong analytical, program management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
- Ability to travel between manufacturing sites (approximately 60% Rosenberg, 40% Pearland).
Preferred Qualifications
- Lean Black Belt certification or other relevant certifications (SME, AME, ASQ, or Shingo Prizes).
- Experience in industries supporting oil and gas or precision components.
- Proven ability to build organizational culture and execute Operational Excellence processes.
