Ensure the flow of goods in the commodity and provide support during supplier escalations
Support the Global Commodity Manager in developing commodity strategies for OE requirements
Conduct and conclude price negotiations and maintain pricing in the ERP system
Collaborate with cross-functional partners including logistics, quality, and engineering
Participate in local supplier selection and define the supplier pool in consultation with the Global Commodity Manager
Search for, develop, and manage strategically relevant suppliers and partnerships
Support the preparation, negotiation, and conclusion of purchasing agreements
Identify and realize savings potential to achieve financial targets
Report KPIs and derive measures to achieve target values
Coordinate with other business units on overlapping commodities
Advise project purchasers on contract awarding for new projects
Prepare statistics and analysis for the assigned commodity area

Technical University Degree or comparable training
Several years of professional experience in purchasing production material within the automotive industry
Proficiency with MS Office, SharePoint, document management systems, and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
Experience with Astras, PLM systems (Oracle preferred), WPS, and PowerBI
Familiarity with Automotive Standards (IATF, ISO, WNB)
Knowledge of customer requirements, laws (LKSG), and regulations (CBAM)
