Regional Commodity Buyer APAC

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the APAC commodity strategy for outsourced labor, sorting services, and temporary workers (blue and white collar)
• Manage strategic sourcing, supplier management, and lead contract negotiations regarding pricing, service levels, and payment terms
• Plan and execute RFQs, tenders, and sourcing activities while coordinating decisions with key stakeholders
• Monitor supplier performance, including cost and service levels, and drive cost optimization through benchmarking and network optimization
• Conduct market analysis and risk assessments to support strategic decision-making
• Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Quality, Finance, Legal, and Operations teams
• Maintain supplier data, contracts, and pricing accuracy while supporting process digitalization and continuous improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, HR, Economics, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or category management
• Strong background in labor services, staffing, outsourcing, or operational services
• Proven strategic sourcing and supplier management capabilities
• Fluent in both English and Mandarin

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within international or matrix organizations
• Understanding of labor law and compliance considerations across the APAC region
