About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide colposcopy evaluation, treatment, and follow-up care in accordance with PPNNE protocols and clinical guidelines
  • Deliver trauma-informed, patient-centered care that supports informed decision-making and dignity
  • Document care accurately and promptly in the electronic health record (EPIC)
  • Collaborate with health center staff and regional leaders to support clinic flow and continuity of care
  • Provide MAB and contraceptive care when needed during periods of low colposcopy demand
  • Participate in quality assurance, chart reviews, and clinical improvement activities
  • Travel one day per week on a rotating basis to various health centers in Vermont and New Hampshire

Requirements

  • Current Vermont licensure as a physician, nurse practitioner, physician associate, or other qualified independent practitioner
  • Demonstrated training, experience, and current competency in colposcopy
  • Ability to travel between regional health centers (Barre, White River Junction, Brattleboro, Rutland, and Keene)
  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in reproductive and sexual health care
