About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary ticketing contact for assigned venues and locations
  • Partner with Box Office Managers on staff training, scheduling, and daily supervision
  • Manage nightly operations including ticket sales, reporting, and scanning
  • Collaborate with promoters, talent buyers, and marketing teams to manage event programming and ticket holds
  • Monitor ticket inventory and work with pricing teams to maximize revenue
  • Oversee box office accounting, including cash handling, safe reconciliation, and daily financial reporting
  • Ensure all ticketing practices are ADA compliant and provide exceptional customer service

Requirements

  • Proven experience in box office or ticketing management
  • Hands-on experience in live event operations
  • Demonstrated proficiency in cash handling and financial reporting
  • Strong leadership, management, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of ticketing systems, specifically Ticketmaster Host, Archtics, AccountManager, or the TM1 product suite
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong organizational abilities, including multitasking and time management
  • Professional communication skills and email etiquette
