About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary ticketing contact for assigned venue locations
- Partner with Box Office Managers on staff training, scheduling, and daily supervision
- Manage nightly operations including ticket sales, reporting, and scanning
- Collaborate with promoters, talent buyers, and marketing teams to manage event programming and ticket holds
- Monitor ticket inventory and work with pricing teams to maximize revenue
- Oversee box office accounting, including cash handling, safe reconciliation, and daily financial reporting
- Ensure all ticketing practices are ADA compliant and provide exceptional customer service
Requirements
- Proven experience in box office or ticketing management
- Hands-on experience in live event operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated proficiency in cash handling and financial reporting
- Strong leadership, management, and customer service skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of Ticketmaster systems (Host, Archtics, AccountManager, or TM1 suite)
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational abilities, including multitasking and time management
- Professional communication skills and email etiquette
