Regional Air Import Gateway Manager

Responsibilities

• Act as the point of contact for operations and service quality issues, including customer complaints and shipment irregularities
• Support local process enhancements and ensure compliance with global improvement initiatives
• Contribute to the country air freight product agenda and regional projects
• Support the execution of Gross Profit Improvement Programs
• Communicate regional and country airfreight policies and support station training
• Support business development and tactical opportunity conversion through operational expertise
• Drive cargo optimization in air and cartage vendors
• Assist with airline relationship building and local rate negotiation
• Ensure compliance of stations and gateways with global policies and customer SOPs

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in freight forwarding airfreight operations
• Experience with in-house applications such as CargoWise, FSI3, or COSS preferred
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools
• Strong project management and analytical skills
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
• Proven people management and communication skills
