Regional Admission Counselor

Responsibilities

• Create and implement individual recruitment plans based on territory goals, including participation in events, conferences, and fairs
• Develop and update an admissions outreach database of teachers and administrators to increase inquiry production
• Communicate with prospective students via phone, email, social media, and physical mail to provide superior service
• Guide prospective students through the application and enrollment process to ensure completed files
• Collaborate with the alumni network to develop new student/professional networks and garner referrals
• Attend training sessions and participate in college events such as information sessions, orientations, and graduation

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or an equivalent mix of education and experience
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in recruiting, sales, or higher education
• Experience managing student files via Slate or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills
