Regional Accounts Payable Executive

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payment transactions, including invoice receipt, 3-way matching, and final payment preparation.
• Process supplier invoices, payroll, and employee expense claims promptly and accurately.
• Reconcile accounts payable ledgers and resolve any discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
• Ensure all activities comply with internal policies, country-level laws, and tax/VAT regulations.
• Maintain comprehensive audit trails and provide documentation for internal and external audits.
• Support continuous process improvements and automation initiatives using ERP systems.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, banks, and internal stakeholders to resolve queries.
• Identify and mitigate operational and financial risks, including payment delays or compliance breaches.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable or finance operations.
• Experience working within an education or multi-site environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, with a strong preference for NetSuite.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of compliance, internal controls, and risk mitigation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
