About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow the existing Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) book of business in the South region
  • Acquire new customers and expand product lines within the existing customer base
  • Develop and target regional accounts and prospects in conjunction with the Director of Sales
  • Maintain current customers through telephone and periodic sales calls and presentations
  • Communicate regulatory compliance issues to customers
  • Resolve customer problems and coordinate needs with Field Operations and Customer Service
  • Create presentations for key sales customers and prospects
  • Perform territory routing plans, forecasts, and customer business reviews
  • Make daily calls on new prospects within the assigned territory

Requirements

  • 3+ years of outside sales experience selling outsourced services to manufacturing and industrial markets
  • 5+ years of sales experience managing multiple accounts
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding aggressive growth targets and sales quotas
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sciences, Marketing, or Management (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce
  • Must own a reliable automobile and have a valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel up to 50% by car within the territory

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within waste management or environmental services
  • Knowledge of RCRA, DOT, and DEA regulatory environments
  • Prior Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) experience
