About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive the growth and expansion of the PNH portfolio within assigned territories, focusing on academic centers, hospital systems, and hematology specialists
- Consistently achieve or exceed sales objectives through strategically targeted account-specific business plans
- Develop and maintain in-depth clinical, technical, and scientific knowledge to educate providers on disease states and treatment options
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs), Market Access, and enterprise partners
- Lead the implementation of a patient-centric partnership model involving physicians, staff, and hospitals
- Execute local promotional activities and provide high-level product expertise and customer service to all accounts
- Manage time, CRM tools, and resources efficiently while maintaining professional standards and compliance with company ethics
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 years of pharmaceutical sales, biotech, or medical device experience (or 5 years in a medical setting)
- Proven track record of delivering consistent sales results within institutions and hospital systems
- Strong clinical, account selling, analytical, and strategic skills
- Ability to develop professional relationships for scientific exchange with healthcare providers
- Must live in the geographic territory or within 50 miles of the territory border
- Ability to travel frequently within the territory, including overnight and weekend travel
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced or Master’s degree
- Experience in orphan or ultra-orphan disease areas
- Background in Bio/Pharma, Hematology, or Oncology
