About the role

Responsibilities

  • Consistently achieve or exceed sales objectives within the assigned territory
  • Create and maintain strategic, account-specific business plans based on local market forces
  • Develop and maintain in-depth clinical, technical, and scientific knowledge of the PNH portfolio
  • Educate healthcare providers on clinical approaches to disease states, including differential diagnosis and appropriate testing
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including MSLs, Market Access, and Diagnostics teams
  • Lead the implementation of a patient-centric partnership model involving physicians, staff, and hospitals
  • Execute local promotional activities and programs for assigned therapeutic areas
  • Provide high-level product expertise and customer service to all accounts
  • Manage time, CRM tools, and workload efficiently while maintaining professional standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 years of pharmaceutical sales, biotech, or medical device experience (or 5 years in a medical setting)
  • Proven track record of delivering consistent sales results in institutions and hospital systems
  • Strong clinical and account selling, analytical, and strategic skills
  • Ability to develop professional relationships for scientific exchange with healthcare providers
  • Must live in the geographic territory or within 50 miles of the territory border
  • Ability to travel regularly within the territory, including frequent overnight and weekend travel
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced or Master's degree
  • Sales experience in the orphan or ultra-orphan pharmaceutical space
  • Experience in Hematology or Oncology
