About the role

Responsibilities

  • Drive the growth and expansion of the PNH portfolio within assigned academic centers, hospital systems, private practices, and infusion centers.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed sales objectives within the assigned territory.
  • Create and maintain strategic, account-specific business plans based on local market forces.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth clinical, technical, and scientific knowledge regarding disease states and treatments.
  • Educate healthcare providers on clinical approaches, differential diagnosis, and appropriate testing.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs), Market Access, and enterprise partners.
  • Lead the implementation of a patient-centric partnership model involving physicians, staff, and hospitals.
  • Execute local promotional activities and provide high-level product expertise and customer service.
  • Manage time, CRM tools, and workload efficiently while maintaining professional standards and ethics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5 years of pharmaceutical sales, biotech, or medical device experience (or 5 years in a medical setting).
  • Proven track record of delivering consistent, top-tier sales results in institutions and hospital systems.
  • Strong clinical, account selling, analytical, and strategic skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team-oriented environment.
  • Must live in the geographic territory or within 50 miles of the territory border.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the territory, including overnight and weekend travel.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced or Master’s degree.
  • Sales experience in the orphan or ultra-orphan pharmaceutical space.
  • Experience in Hematology or Oncology.
