Refurbishment Technician

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for refurbishment center equipment
• Perform complex preventive maintenance and diagnose mechanical repairs for center equipment
• Operate mass spectrometers or perform tank assembly tasks when not performing maintenance
• Handle heavy and awkward CO2 vessels up to 6 feet tall and weighing up to 750 lbs
• Maintain an extremely clean and well-organized work area

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or production operations
• 1 year of experience in quality control testing
• Strong mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting skills
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment and tanks up to 750 lbs
• Ability to stand, bend, stretch, and kneel for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical degree
• Experience with quality control testing using specialized instrumentation
• Knowledge of vacuum technology or helium leak detection techniques
