About the role
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for refurbishment center equipment
- Perform complex preventive maintenance and diagnose mechanical repairs for center equipment
- Operate mass spectrometers or perform tank assembly tasks when not performing maintenance
- Handle heavy and awkward CO2 vessels up to 6 feet tall and weighing up to 750 lbs
- Maintain an extremely clean and well-organized work area
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or production operations
- 1 year of experience in quality control testing
- Strong mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment and tanks up to 750 lbs
- Ability to stand, bend, stretch, and kneel for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical degree
- Experience with quality control testing using specialized instrumentation
- Knowledge of vacuum technology or helium leak detection techniques
