Refrigeration Mid-Level Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair conventional and rack refrigeration systems, evaporative and air-cooled condensers, ice machines, and HVAC units
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal operating efficiency and minimize customer downtime
• Complete all required paperwork and customer documentation in a timely manner
• Troubleshoot and repair water pumps, compressors, air handlers, and electric motors
• Participate in an on-call rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Clean driver’s license and driving record
• EPA Certification (minimum Type I and II, or Universal)
• At least 2 years of experience in commercial refrigeration and/or HVAC repair and maintenance

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification from a technical school or equivalent specialized training
• Basic knowledge of supermarket refrigeration energy management systems
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
