Refrigeration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Undertake reactive works issued through the Service desk within set time frames to meet customer expectations
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform fault finding on plant and equipment
• Conduct thorough investigations to establish root causes of faults to prevent repeat breakdowns and reduce gas usage
• Complete all necessary paperwork, administration, and customer in-store e-based systems in real time
• Update all job details via PDA and liaise with the Spares team to order necessary parts
• Maintain proactive client liaison and communicate identified additional works to supervisors for quoting
• Assist in achieving 100% PPM maintenance completion when required
• Mentor and coach assigned trainees to support their career development and technical competence
• Monitor and maintain appropriate van stock levels to ensure a high first-fix percentage

Requirements

• Qualifications in Refrigeration
• Proven experience working within a supermarket environment
• Relevant industry accreditation
• Health & safety certification
• Full driving license
