Refractionist

Responsibilities

• Carry out nursing services and vision care for patients in the outpatient department
• Perform anamnesis, preliminary examinations, and objective, subjective, binocular, and orthoptic examinations
• Manage patient vision correction, including corrective glasses and contact lens fitting
• Provide emergency medical and nursing actions according to patient needs
• Monitor patient health conditions, including vital signs and psychological state
• Assist doctors during procedures by preparing patients physically and psychologically
• Handle administrative needs such as home care instructions, sick certificates, and prescriptions
• Maintain accurate recording and reporting systems for nursing care

Requirements

• Diploma (D3) Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in Level 1 clinical nursing
• Proficiency in using refractive testing equipment and interpreting results
• High attention to detail for accurate measurements and prescriptions
• Ability to provide compassionate care and address patient concerns
