Referral Indexer

Responsibilities

• Check referrals for accuracy and completion
• Input information received from doctor’s offices into the computer system
• Interact with patients, physicians, and staff to provide accurate and timely information
• Access referrals using insurance websites
• Perform other job-related duties to ensure efficient client operations

Requirements

• At least 1 year of previous experience
• Experience as a Patient Care Coordinator or in a similar capacity
• Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD10, and CPT coding/procedures preferred
• Ability to type at least 40 wpm
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience as a medical receptionist or front desk staff
• Proficient in English (at least B1 level)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent phone etiquette
