Reference Data Specialist

Responsibilities

• Review legal agreements including ISDA, CSA, Financing, F&O, OTC, and Prime Brokerage to extract key legal and financial parameters.
• Index extracted parameters into firm systems with high levels of accuracy, completeness, and auditability.
• Support Markets regulatory projects, such as Pushout initiatives involving client transfers between legal entities.
• Identify documentation issues and coordinate with internal functions like Credit and Legal to resolve disputed points.
• Collaborate with Legal, Business, Operations, and Technology partners to improve and sustain efficient operating frameworks.
• Partner with regional Legal Operations teams to align inputs and outcomes regarding master agreement negotiations.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in derivatives master agreements and trade-related documentation within an investment bank or law firm.
• Strong understanding of derivatives legal documents, specifically ISDA and CSA.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and execute independently under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Law or Commerce.
• Postgraduate qualification such as an MBA or LLB.
• Experience partnering with Legal Operations and cross-functional stakeholders in documentation processing workflows.
• Flexibility to work shifts and support time-sensitive deliverables.
