About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage daily food production, service, ordering, and inventory management
- Prepare soups, sandwiches, pastas, proteins, and baked goods
- Fillet and cook fish and prepare various egg styles
- Train staff and ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
- Monitor and record food temperatures to maintain health and safety compliance
Requirements
- Red Seal Certification
- Minimum 5 years of food service industry experience
- Valid Food Safety certification
- Strong leadership and exceptional knife skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe software
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Ability to complete a Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) level 3
- Commitment to remain at the lodge for the full duration (June-August)
