About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage daily food production, service, ordering, and inventory management
- Prepare soups, sandwiches, pastas, proteins, and fish
- Train staff and ensure adherence to food safety standards
- Monitor and record food temperatures and maintain health and safety compliance
Requirements
- Red Seal Certification
- Minimum 5 years of food service industry experience
- Valid Food Safety certification
- Strong leadership and exceptional knife skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to pass a Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) level 3
- Ability to remain at the lodge for the full duration of the contract (June-August)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in large-volume scratch cooking
- Experience with inventory management and weekly food ordering
