About the role
Responsibilities
- Support students and alumni with career exploration, goal setting, and academic choices
- Provide career coaching, including resume and cover letter development and mock interviews
- Assist students in identifying and securing internships and job opportunities
- Develop and deliver workshops and presentations on career-related topics
- Engage with employers to facilitate career connections and networking events
- Collect and analyze data from surveys and reports to evaluate program effectiveness and trends
- Maintain documentation to track student progress, engagement, and career goals
- Collaborate with faculty and academic departments to integrate career development into the student experience
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience using graphic design tools such as Canva and Adobe Photoshop
- Familiarity with recruiting applications like Handshake and Quinncia
- Experience using social media platforms including Instagram and LinkedIn for professional engagement
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Previous experience working within an academic institution
