Recruitment and Placement Specialist

Responsibilities

• Develop a wide variety of job opportunities for customers
• Establish and maintain active contact with local community organizations and employers
• Identify job openings, alternative work activities, and training initiatives with businesses
• Assist employers in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring qualified applicants
• Maintain current listings of local job opportunities and facilitate job placements
• Perform follow-up with graduates and employers to ensure satisfaction and quality improvement
• Conduct information sessions, group orientations, and workshops for participants
• Manage industry sector assignments and coordinate on-site recruiting events

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge of local labor market trends and community resources
• Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software
• Ability to pass criminal background, drug, and DMV checks
• Must provide own transportation and maintain valid vehicle insurance
• Ability to work occasional extended hours including weekends
