Responsibilities
- Develop a wide variety of job opportunities for customers
- Establish and maintain active contact with local community organizations and employers
- Identify job openings, alternative work activities, and training initiatives with businesses
- Assist employers in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring qualified applicants
- Maintain current listings of local job opportunities and facilitate job placements
- Perform follow-up with graduates and employers to ensure satisfaction and quality improvement
- Conduct information sessions, group orientations, and workshops for participants
- Manage industry sector assignments and coordinate on-site recruiting events
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of local labor market trends and community resources
- Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software
- Ability to pass criminal background, drug, and DMV checks
- Must provide own transportation and maintain valid vehicle insurance
- Ability to work occasional extended hours including weekends
