About the role
Responsibilities
- Own and scale the early career talent program, including university relations, new grad hiring, and internship programs.
- Manage the full early career recruiting lifecycle from campus partnerships through onboarding.
- Build and manage the contingent worker program end-to-end, including vendor and staffing agency management.
- Ensure compliance with California contingent labor laws and worker classifications.
- Manage contingent talent through a Vendor Management System (VMS), including requisitions and spend visibility.
- Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, and Engineering to align programs with business objectives.
- Analyze program data and metrics to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Drive automation across both programs to increase accuracy and reduce manual work.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 6+ years of experience in recruiting operations, talent acquisition, or people program management.
- Proven track record of building and scaling early career talent programs (university relations, internships, etc.).
- Proven success managing contingent worker programs and staffing agency relationships.
- Solid understanding of employment law and compliance regarding contingent workforce management, specifically in California.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using workforce data to drive decision-making.
- Strong program management skills with the ability to design and optimize complex processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with VMS platforms, specifically Flextracks.
- Knowledge of Employers of Record (EORs) and international contingent worker models.
- Experience in high-growth technology companies, particularly in automotive or autonomous vehicle industries.
- Experience scaling talent operations from early-stage startups to larger organizational structures.
- Background in change management or organizational development.
