About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage the Orange County office's overall recruitment efforts, including summer, new, and lateral associate recruiting.
- Oversee summer program planning, including budget management, event calendars, and execution.
- Review and select candidate applications for consideration by the Hiring Committee.
- Coordinate logistics for student hiring, candidate visits, screening, and callback interviews.
- Manage the offer process and organize outreach events for lateral recruits and candidates.
- Facilitate annual academic and diversity-focused events in conjunction with student groups.
- Work with legal search firms and agencies regarding lateral associate hiring.
- Prepare and track annual departmental budgets and maintain recruiting records.
- Support various firm committees, including Associates, Diversity, and Professional Development.
Requirements
- Four-year college degree.
- Minimum of four years of recruiting experience.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and executive functioning skills.
- Ability to handle highly sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within a law firm.
- Experience in event planning and coordination.
- Experience using applicant tracking or human resources software.
