Recruiting Intern

Responsibilities

• Support full-cycle recruiting activities from requisition approval through pre-employment completion
• Source candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, networking, and career fairs
• Review resumes and provide qualified candidate slates to Hiring Managers
• Coordinate candidate communications and schedule phone, virtual, and onsite interviews
• Manage interview logistics, calendars, and feedback collection
• Assist with drafting offer letters, managing documentation, and onboarding activities
• Monitor background screenings and employment verification processes
• Maintain accurate candidate records and data integrity within SmartRecruiters
• Support employer branding activities and recruiting events

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited U.S. bachelor's degree program (Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field)
• Minimum GPA of 2.8
• Ability to work at least 20 hours per week during standard business hours
• Availability to work onsite three days per week for a 12-month internship
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Junior or Senior class standing
• Previous internship experience in Recruiting, HR, or Administrative Support
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as SmartRecruiters
• Familiarity with background screening and onboarding processes
• Experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn or other talent platforms
