Recreational Attendant

Responsibilities

• Support year-round Snowflex snow-sports operations, including tubing hill assistance and lift operations
• Provide exceptional guest services, including ticketing, concessions, and general public inquiries
• Maintain facility cleanliness and safety through custodial duties and light maintenance
• Assist with special events and programming at Sleepy Hollow Sports Park
• Perform administrative tasks such as collecting fees, reconciling daily sales, and basic record keeping
• Monitor facility use and ensure safety protocols are followed by visitors

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Valid State of Iowa driver’s license
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
• Ability to obtain CPR/AED and First Aid certification within six months of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of outdoor recreation activities such as snow tubing, skiing, or snowboarding
• Experience in customer service, concessions, or ticketing environments
• Previous experience in the snow sports and snow operation industry
